2008 - 2009 iPod Integration Initiative for Secondary Special Ed Collaborating Teachers

Saint Paul Public Schools is committed to increasing our use of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) strategies across the district. By differentiating instruction and the opportunities for students to access information, we can enhance their learning.

We are pleased to invite secondary teachers of students with disabilities to participate in an i-Pod technology integration initiative.

Project Goal:
Teachers will learn how to use i-pods in a variety of ways in their instruction to improve student achievement in the general education curriculum.

i-Pods are being used in education by students  for many different purposes. This includes listening to textbooks, recording & studying lectures, creating flashcards to review vocabulary, taking tests with auditory support, and creating podcasts.
