Notice of Proposed Safeguards
The current version of the Rights Brochure is September, 2003. Only use this version. The Rights Brochure is available in other languages on the MDE website.  There are also copies of the Rights Brochure in some other languages in the Child Study office at Central Administration. Call 767-8331 to obtain a copy of the Brochures in other languages.

Send a copy of the Notice to the parent at the following times:

1.  Notice of Educational Evaluation/Reevaluation;
2.  New IEP is written;
3.  Due process hearing is being requested;
4.  Student is suspended for more than 10 consecutive days;
5.  District places the student in an interim educational setting.
