| Additional IEP Sections | | Section 7: Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment - Use the template banks to describe adaptations, modifications or the alternate MTAS assesssment.
Section 8: District Initiated Self-Assessment
Section 9: Minnesota Basic Standards Assessment - Use the template banks to describe adaptations, modifications or the alternate MTAS assesssment.
Section 12: Extended School Year - If ESY is being added as a service, a NEW service line must be added
for each service stating the time needed to provide that service. For
example, if a student received 850 minutes of E/BD service per week,
and 60 minutes of Sp/Lang service per week, those two lines would be
listed as a regular service. If both those services were needed for
ESY, a SECOND entry for each service is needed, with the minutes of ESY needed and the ESY BOX CHECKED. In this manner, both regular services and ESY services can be calculated.
Section 13: Altered School Day
Section 14: Adaptations in General and Special Education; numerous text boxes assist in putting in statements for 3rd party billling, and options for adaptations in school settings.
Section 15: Services
Because Campus is designed to provide information directly to special education billing systems, special education services and service providers are pre-defined by the district. They are inserted into the IEP via the Service and Service Provider drop-down menus. If the service or service provider needs to be created, this can be done by an authorized person who has security rights to the Special Education Manager tool. The moment a service or service provider is defined, it can be inserted into the IEP you’re creating. Be sure ALL fields are completed accurately.
